Does anyone use a shortbed Ford to pull there gn horse trailer? Concerned on placement of the hitch in the bed as far as towing and weight capacity. Thanks

Watch you back glass and cab for sure! A tappered nose trailer is almost a must!

I have been pulling a 7' wide 3 horse Exxis (about 18' on the floor) with a Ford short bed. It has been fine, but I do need to keep an eye on the goose neck when backing. With a wider trailer and wider nose, it would be more of an issue.

2006 Crew Cab short bed. Pulled 3 horse 7ft wide and 3 horse 8 ft wide. Both with tapered noses. No problems at all. Just be careful when backing, slow and easy .
