| I want to here "YOUR" fuel mileage results. Tell me what YOU drive and what you tow and the fuel mileage you are getting. I am NOT interested in what your friends have or had only what YOU are using or have used in the last few months.
Myself, I have an 2007 DODGE RAM 3500 C/C truck 2 wheel drive with a CM custom hauler bed I pull a 2004 Sundowner 8010 3 horse Signature Series trailer and a 28' gooseneck flatbed with 15 round bales. The truck stock was getting 14 unloaded and 10 loaded. After modifcation I have made I am now getting 17 or better unloaded and almost 14 loaded.

| we have three trucks a 2002 f550 7.3 liter powerstroke and unloaded it gets right around 15 and we usualy just move eqipment with that truck usualy around 25,000 pounds and it gets 10 to 12 with that. 2nd we have a 2006 chevy 2500 it gets around 16 unloaded and pulling a 3 horse gooseneck no living quarters probly gets 14. and lastly we have a 2006 f650 gets 15 or 16 unloaded and with the 3 horse gets 14 i would say and pulling are living quarter trailer that weighs 18,500 unloaded we probly get about 12. |

| What engine and tranny do you have in your F-650? I am looking to up size, but can not figure out what I want. Looking at the 4500 Chevys (because of the price) and looking at used Freightliners and Internationals but they keep going up on price..... |

Location: Colorado | I've got a 2001 Ford F350, 7.3, 6 speed manual, crew cab 4X4 dual rear wheels. Until recently I mostly pulled a 4 horse head to head - 29' on the floor. Now I've got a 4H cimarron. It stays hooked to the trailer. I'll normally get 11 to 12 mpg. I try to keep it around 70 MPH. 15 or 18 months ago, when fuel was so high, I did a little experiment. On one of my trips, 350 miles one way, I stayed at 63mph. I got 13 to 14.5 mpg (actual mileage, not just what the computer said I was getting). Up here in the winter time, a lot of places will blend thier fuel to help keep it from gelling. With blended fuel my mileage goes down a little. |

| Have you noticed any difference in fuel mileage with the ULSD vs the regular LSD? My older 97 F-350 does not run as good and the mileage drops unless I put treatment in it. |

Location: Colorado | I couldn't see much of a difference with the ultralow sulpher- but if it's 1/2 mpg, I probably wouldn't have caught that. My mileage can fluctuate that much normally. |

Location: Utah | I have a 2006 F350 CC, LB SRW, 6.0L Auto. It currently has 95,000 miles on it. I have upsized the tires one size to 285/75R18 Which added 2" to the diameter of the tire. I corrected the calibration to reflect the larger tire size. I also live at 4472 foot above sea level
If I get on the freeway and do a steady 70mph the truck gets 19-20mpg. It doesn't matter so much if I drive 45 miles or 450 miles. Hand calcuation of mileage validates what the computer displays.
Any kind of around town driving, which would involve stop signs, stop lights etc and I drop to 13-14 mpg.
I tow several trailers. A logan 4 horse that weighs a little over 6,000lbs empty. Loaded gear and horses, I've gone a little over 12,000 with it. ( I often throw 5 horses in the trailer). A 20' tilt bed equipment trailer. On it I haul a mini excavator or a Skid Loader. I also have a dump trailer that 5000lbs empty and up to 14,0000 lbs loaded. Last year I sod a 4 horse LQ that loaded went 16,000lbs.
Pulling a trailer I get 11.5 to 12.5 mpg. I found it interesting that I pulled my 16,000lb LQ from Salt Lake to Jackson Hole and got 11.5mpg with a full load. I picked up my current non-LQ trailer in boise and towed it home empty ( 6,000lbs) and got 11.7mpg. So a 10,000lb lighter trailer and I got almost the same mpg. So wind resitance and rolling resitance plays a bigger role in my MPG than does weight.
I have an Edge Evolution programer installed. I almost NEVER change the setting from the stock mode. I use it mostly for the EGT temp gauge. But the few times I have tried the ecconomy mode has not made any difference in my mileage.
And No I have not seen any difference in my mpg with Ultra Low Sulfer fuel. I do see a drop in the cold months when the refineries blend the diesel to prevent gelling.

| I have had a little problem with the ULSD down here with older diesel trucks. Mileage loss, more noise and my older 1992 7.L IDI F-350 injectors start leaking even after new seals. So I have tried a couple of different fuel treatments and the best I have found and the cheapest has been either auto transmission fluid and 2 cycle outborad engine oil TCW3. My 92 has 2 small tanks so I put 1/2 pint of TCW3 in each tank every 4 fill ups. So far NO more leaks, better cold starts, better fuel mileage and a little more take off power. |

Location: Coarsegold, CA | Truck is an 06 F350 Crew Cab Dually, 4x4, and empty on the road I have gotten as high as 18mpg.
Towing the 3h bp loaded ( with only a few things in the truck bed probably 12-14. Trips with the BP are usually local now but that consists of Sierra Foothills at 3000'
Usual load is 3H, GN LQ, 10'sw, fully loaded probably weighs in at 15000 and pulling anywhere around here includes Cajon Pass, or the Grapevine in Southern California and I get 10-12 mpg.

Then I bought a new 2001 Chevrolet 3500 dually, ext cab, 4x4 with the 8.1 gas engine and the Allison automatic. Truck has 4.10 gears and stock 215-85-16lrE tires. I have gotten as high as 13 and change running empty, most of the time it's in the 10-11 range. I pull a 6 horse head to head thats 43' on the floor. Truck and trailer GCW is usually around 21 - 23000# . Just got back from middle Tn. several weeks ago and averaged 8.22 mpg, loaded. Kept my speed at or around 65 mph. Had I run 75 mph the mileage would have been about 7 mpg. Truck is nine years old with 82000 mile and has had no issures other than it's appetite for mass quanities of Benzene laced hydrocarbon!!! I like my "big block"!! |

I've often wondered what real mileage the big block gas engines get when pulling. 43' on the floor - holy smokes! I went from my head to head to a slant load because I wanted a little shorter trailer - and it was only 29' of floor! LOL! My trailer I've got now is 24' - I feel like I can get around about anywhere with it, and my wife likes pulling it better too. I sure did like the head to head for long distances, though! |

Location: Pataskala, Ohio | My truck a 2002 Chevy 2500HD 4X4 with supercharged 6.0 GAS pulling a 4 horse Lakota with a 10'LQ.
Unloaded it gets about 14-15 on the freeway, if I stay under 80mph. With the trailer attached it gets 9.5-10 at 65 on the flats and crossing the Rockies my Scan Gauge II said I was getting 5.3MPG at 2-3lbs of boost doing about 30MPH on I 70 in Colorado. I could pass anything but a gas station. |
